Under the IFC-DFAT Women in Work programme, IFC officially presented the financial and digital financial literacy training modules to Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL) Governor Ajith Nivard Cabraal.
The programme facilitated innovative delivery of financial awareness during the COVID-19 pandemic and introduced digital delivery for adult audiences. Developed as part of the broader initiatives under the National Financial Inclusion Strategy for Sri Lanka, the programme includes a gender-sensitive approach and innovative tools/techniques for classroom and online delivery by the CBSL.
