Japanese Ambassador meets Prez

Japanese Ambassador to Sri Lanka Hideaki Mizukoshi yesterday pledged continued support to Sri Lanka’s engagement with the International Monetary Fund.

In a meeting with President Gotabaya Rajapaksa at the President’s House, Mizukoshi said efforts would be taken towards strengthening the bilateral relations between the two countries. 

The ambassador affirmed Japan would continue to maintain economic, social and cultural ties with Sri Lanka. The president thanked the ambassador for Japan’s support to Sri Lanka.
