Jit Gunaratne joins CIC board

Jitendra Romesh Gunaratne, who recently retired from the John Keells group, has been appointed as an Independent Non-Executive Director to CIC Holdings PLC, with effect from January 6, 2021.

Gunaratne counts 40 years of experience in strategic planning, production and distribution, industrial relations and change management in the food and beverage, plantations and leisure sectors. 

During his career at John Keells Holdings PLC, he has held directorships in several listed and private companies of the John Keells group. 

He has been a Member of the Food Advisory Council of the Health Ministry and a Member of the Council for Hotel and Tourism of the Employers’ Federation of Ceylon. He was Founder Chairman of the Beverage Association of Sri Lanka.
