Lanka Securities Kosala new CSBA President

Lanka Securities’ chief Kosala Gamage has been appointed the new President of Colombo Stockbrokers Association (CSBA) at the Association’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) held on December 5.


Gamage succeeded Acuity Stockbrokers CEO Prashan Fernando, who held the mantle for two terms.


Gamage is a senior figure in the Sri Lankan capital markets, with over twenty four years of experience in managing local and foreign investments. 


He currently serves as the Managing Director / CEO of Lanka Securities (Pvt) Ltd, a stock brokering firm established as a joint venture between First Capital Securities Corporation of Pakistan, Bank of Ceylon, and Merchant Bank of Sri Lanka. 


Gamage also represents Renuka Consultants as a Director on its board.  


He commenced his professional career as an Investment Advisor and has worked in various positions during his career. CSBA is an apex industry body, representing stock broking companies licensed and regulated by the Securities & Exchange Commission of Sri Lanka.
