Latvian Consul General visits Riga Foreign Affairs Ministry

On an official visit to the Republic of Latvia, Honorary Consul General of Latvia in Sri Lanka Thomas F. Daetwyler visited the Foreign Affairs Ministry of the Republic of Latvia and met Asia and Oceania Division Head Egils Dzelme.

The ministry briefed on the recent developments in Latvia and the interest to promote the bilateral relationship between Sri Lanka and Latvia and in the region.

The Consular Division informed about the latest procedures and the outlook and discussed the measures to further the interests of Latvia in Sri Lanka, with the Latvian Development Institute, Latvian Institute, Riga Technical University and Riga Stradins University (Medical Faculty).
