Laugfs Gas and Litro announce price reductions

Laugfs Gas PLC and Litro Gas yesterday announced price reductions of their liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) cylinders, effective midnight.

Thus, the price of a 12.5 kilogramme domestic LPG cylinder, under the Laugfs brand, is reduced by Rs.160, to a maximum retail price of Rs.3680, within the Colombo district. 

The prices in the other areas and pack sizes are to be adjusted accordingly. 

Meanwhile, Litro Gas Chairman Muditha Peiris too in a statement announced the price of the 12.5 kilogramme cylinder would decrease by Rs.150 to Rs.3,790.

Similarly, the five-kilogramme cylinder is reduced by Rs.60, which is now priced at Rs.1,522.
The price of the 2.3 kilogramme cylinder is reduced by Rs.28; its new price is Rs.712.
