Laugfs Lubricants Laboratory becomes first petroleum testing laboratory to be accredited with ISO/IEC 17025:2017

The Laugfs Lubricants state-of-the-art laboratory located in the Malwatta BOI Zone has recently been accredited with the ISO/IEC 17025:2017 certification, a recognition of compliance with international standards for laboratory testing, from the Sri Lanka Accreditation Board (SLAB), a full member of the International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC). 

It is the first petroleum testing laboratory in Sri Lanka to receive this accreditation under the scope of oil and lubricants, marking a monumental achievement for Laugfs Lubricants, being the only home-grown lubricant brand in Sri Lanka.

The ISO/IEC 17025:2017 accreditation is an internationally recognised quality management system certification for testing/calibration laboratories, which demonstrates the technical competency and the accuracy of the test results of products manufactured by Laugfs Lubricants. The certification provides customers with the assurance that results of product testing conducted by the laboratory are accurate and reliable.
