Malindu Dairy Managing Director Manjula Nishantha receives award
Malindu Dairy (Pvt.) Ltd, one of the leading local food production companies in Sri Lanka, won the Bronze award in the large-scale dairy and associated products category, at the Industrial Excellence Awards organised by the Industrial Development Board (IDB).
Malindu Dairy Managing Director Manjula Nishantha received the award at the ceremony held at Waters’ Edge under the patronage of President Gotabhaya Rajapaksa.
Malindu Dairy (Pvt.) Ltd, which entered into business in 1997 as a small-scale company manufacturing yoghurt, has since expanded production by producing fruit juice, ice cream and drinking yoghurt. A wide array of Malindu products, comprised of yogurt, dairy products, fruit juice and vanilla, chocolate, strawberries and fruit and nuts flavoured ice cream, can be found in the market.
Malindu products are manufactured using state-of-the-art machinery and 100 percent of fresh cow’s milk and buffalo milk, by adhering to health and safety guidelines. These products can be purchased at stores islandwide. Malindu Dairy is ISO:14001 and GMP certified and has received numerous awards. Through constant research and development, Malindu Dairy maintains and promotes the high-quality standards of its products.
