Newly elected FTZMA Executive Committee meets BOI Chairman

Newly elected office bearers of Free Trade Zone Manufacturers’ Association (FTZMA) paid a courtesy call on BOI Chairman Dinesh Weerakkody at his office on April 21st. 

The purpose of the meeting was to bring in the attention of BOI Chairman to current challenges that investors are facing and also to explore opportunities for improving existing policies and regulations to ease of doing business for the export sector ensuring an export-led economy.

The delegation consisted of the chairman of FTZMA Dhammika Fernando, General Secretary Sean Umagiliya, Deputy Secretary Tyronee Weckasnighe, Deputy Treasurer Manjula Mahadanaarachchi, Engineer Lalith Kahatapitiya and Secretary General Vasantha Dias.
