Paras Chandaria-led UST exploring possibilities to set up operations in Sri Lanka

UST, a leading digital transformation solutions company, headquartered in Aliso Viejo, California, United States, said it is exploring the possibility of setting up operations in Sri Lanka.  Its intention is to hire over 10,000 new employees across the globe.

UST Executive Chairman Paras Chandaria and other company representatives were recently in Colombo, meeting with various stakeholders, business representatives, and Government officials.

Some of its investments include Lanka Aluminium Industries PLC and its group companies, Metecno (Pvt) Ltd, Mainetti (Pvt) Ltd, CIC Agri Business and several other companies. “We are excited to work with UST and be involved with their operations, especially in the development of human capital in the IT sector in Sri Lanka. Our IT talent is second to none with an excellent attitude and work ethic,” said Dinal Peiris, Chairman of Lanka Aluminium Industries PLC Group.
