People’s Insurance holds Achievers Night to honour employee contributions

People’s Insurance PLC recently hosted the Achievers Night 2024. The event served as a platform to honour and applaud the exceptional contributions and unwavering dedication of its employees over the preceding year. 
Under the adept stewardship of Chairman Isuru Balapatabendi and the CEO Jeevani Kariyawasam, People’s Insurance PLC has consistently maintained its position as a leading force in the realm of general insurance. 
Chairman Balapatabendi, in his address extended heartfelt congratulations to the deserving recipients, underscoring the paramount importance of acknowledging and appreciating the tireless endeavors of the workforce. 
Echoing sentiments of gratitude and appreciation, CEO Jeevani Kariyawasam expressed profound appreciation to all employees for their unwavering dedication and relentless pursuit of excellence.  
The Achievers Night 2024 witnessed the distinguished presence of the entire Board of Directors, alongside an assembly of esteemed staff members, all of whom were lauded for their exceptional contributions. A total of 68 awards were bestowed upon deserving recipients, commemorating their outstanding contributions and exemplary performance. 
Amongst the myriad honours, the ‘Chairman’s Award’ stood as the crowning jewel of the night, bestowed upon the Most Profitable Employee, R. L. Gunawardena, in recognition of his exceptional prowess and dedication.
