SCPF holds first supply chain network event

Supply Chain Professionals’ Forum (SCPF) held its first network event on March 11th at Waters Edge, Rajagiriya. 
SCPF is a members’ network created in 2017 and today there are over 250 members in this group related to supply chain, commercial and logistics activities. The group was designed to help each other who are involved in day-to-day supply chain processes and learn about a range of timely topics across the industry.

Creator of the group Asanga Weerackody of e-visible said it was a wonderful day for the 250 members from around 200 corporates who had very close relationship digitally, to meet for the first time in an enjoyable atmosphere.  

Further he said there was no better time than that to come together as an industry and look forward with specific ideas and opportunities to remove supply chain friction and improve our agility and resilience.
