SEC and CFA Society Sri Lanka officials
The Securities and Exchange Commission of Sri Lanka (SEC) and CFA Society Sri Lanka yesterday announced the successful renewal of their memorandum of understanding (MoU), signifying a strengthened commitment to fostering the development of the capital market in Sri Lanka.
On the occasion of signing the MoU, SEC Chairman Faizal Saliah noted, “The SEC is pleased to continue our collaboration with CFA Society Sri Lanka through the renewal of this MoU. Together, we aim to drive improvements in the capital market and enhance market integrity and transparency as well as promote the adoption of the highest standards and practices within the investment industry.”
CFASL President Aruna Perera CFA also expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership and the potential it holds for the capital market of Sri Lanka.
“CFA Society Sri Lanka is delighted to sign this MoU with the SEC. We firmly believe in the power of collective efforts to achieve positive outcomes.
