SL apparel sparkle in Las Vegas

Eleven Sri Lankan companies participated in Sourcing at Magic Las Vegas

Export Development Board (EDB) in collaboration with Sri Lanka Missions in the USA, organised the Sri Lanka country pavilion at Sourcing at Magic Exhibition, in Las Vegas, USA recently with the participation of 11 Sri Lankan companies. 
Sourcing at ‘Magic Las Vegas’ is one of the world’s largest fashion marketplaces with a high-energy fashion experience, which is held biannually in February and August,at the Las Vegas Convention Centre. 
Timex Garments (Pvt.) Ltd, Aitken Spence (Garments) (Pvt.) Ltd, Eskimo Fashion Knitwear (Pvt.) Ltd, TrendywearAdhikarigama (Pvt.) Ltd, Nobleswear (Pvt.) Ltd, Garment Services Meegoda (Pvt.) Ltd, Colmans Garments (Pvt.) Ltd,Nasna Impex Garments Industries (Pvt.) Ltd, Rainco Industries (Pvt.) Ltd and Insomnia (Pvt.) Ltd showcased and promoted a wide range of apparel products at the Sri Lanka pavilion, ranging from ladies dresses and blouses, active wear, work wear, men’s shirts, underwear, children wear and raincoat capabilities to the USA market. 

Sri Lanka Garment Exporters Association Chairman Indika Liyanahewage participated in the country focus session organised in parallel with the exhibition to share Sri Lanka’s experience on sustainable and ethical manufacturing practices in Sri Lanka garment sector and its improvements.
