SLAMERP holds 12th AGM

• Rubber industry exceeds US $ 1bn export revenue for 2021

The 12th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Sri Lanka Association of Manufacturers and Exporters of Rubber Products (SLAMERP) was held recently.

Ravi Dadlani of CEAT Kelani was re-elected as Chairman and Pushpika Janadheera of Dipped Products was elected as Vice Chairman, Kavinda Rajapaksa of DSI as Secretary and Thusitha Perera from Camso Loadstar was elected as Treasurer (not in picture).

Due to the prevailing situation, the AGM was held under COVID guidelines. A   significant landmark was announced at the AGM by the chairman that the industry passed US $ 1 billion revenue for the years 2021.
