SL’s printing and packaging sector sees new investment

Sri Lanka’s printing and packaging industry is set to expand further, with the Board of Investment (BOI) announcing a new investment venture worth US$ 3.5 million with SC Printing International, a longstanding Sri Lankan-origin company.

The partnership is aimed at expanding the company’s manufacturing capacity to increase its export volumes, according to a recent BOI update on X (formerly twitter).

The agreement for the new investment venture was formalised and exchanged this week between BOI Chairman Arjuna Herath and officials of SC Printing International.
