SimCorp Pte. Ltd. Singapore has secured a contract to provide a new data management system for reserve management of Sri Lanka’s Central Bank.
SimCorp, headquartered in Copenhagen, Denmark, is a leader in providing integrated investment management solutions.
The Cabinet Office said bids were invited on an internationally competitive basis to provide, install, operate and maintain the data management system, to meet the existing requirements in the management of the country’s foreign reserves as well as to facilitate future developments.
“Considering the recommendation of the Standing Procurement Committee appointed by the Cabinet of Ministers and the views and recommendation of the Information and Communication Technology Agency of Sri Lanka on the proposed procurement, the Finance Minister proposed to award the contract to SimCorp Pte. Ltd. Singapore. The proposal was approved by the Cabinet of Ministers,” the Cabinet Office said.
