Singapore Airlines to increase flight frequency to Sri Lanka

From May 1, 2021, Singapore Airlines will increase its flight frequency to Sri Lanka from three times to five times weekly, operating the Airbus 350-900MH aircraft.


Singapore Airlines has continued to adjust its global network capacity to meet passengers’ needs. With this increase in frequency, over 50 percent of SIA capacity into Sri Lanka will be resumed.


Flights from Singapore to Colombo will operate on every Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday while flights from Colombo to Singapore will be on every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. 

All passengers on board will receive an SIA Care Kit, which includes a face mask, hand sanitiser and disinfectant surface wipe whilst an anti-bacterial wipe will be provided at meal service.


For a contactless journey, all passengers are encouraged to use the Singapore Air mobile app, which offers greater travel convenience from booking to boarding and beyond.
