Singapore-based GoodHope Asia Holdings PLC (GAHL) announced the decision to extend the closing date of the exit offer, in its move to delist from the Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE).
In a filing to the capital market operator yesterday, GAHL announced the extension of the closing date of the exit offer to October 10, 2023, from September 18, 2023.

The extension was made to benefit all shareholders, GAHL said.
“With the intention of managing the expectations of shareholders, who accept the exit offer prior to the closing date i.e., September 18, 2023 (and may have already done so), GAHL (GoodHope) will pay and settle the purchase consideration due to such accepting shareholders, within 21 calendar days from the closing date as communicated in the offer document,” it said.
It added that the shareholders, who accept the exit offer between the closing date and revised closing date, would be paid and settled within 21 calendar days from the revised closing date.

Shareholders are requested to make reference to the offer document for all other details pertaining to the exit offer and the acceptance thereof, which remain unchanged.
In August, four subsidiaries of Goodhope Asia Holdings Ltd, the holding company of Carson Cumberbatch PLC, received the approval from the Securities and Exchange Commission to delist their shares from the official list of the CSE.
