According to the State Agency for Tourism Development of Ukraine, the number of Ukrainians travelling to Sri Lanka is growing every year. In 2020, the island was visited by 1.7 thousand Ukrainian tourists and in the first half of 2021, the number was more than 2.5 thousand people.

They are attracted by the incredible beaches, exotic greenery and soothing sound of ocean waves.
