Sri Lanka Innovators’ Forum to kick off tomorrow in Colombo

The inaugural review of the Sri Lanka Innovators’ Forum (SLIF), a project initiated by the Gamani Corea Foundation as its contribution to help Sri Lanka come out of the current economic crisis, will kick off tomorrow (24) in Colombo.
The event will kick off at the BMICH, Jasmine Hall and will be graced by Prime Minister Dinesh Gunawardene, industry experts, foreign dignitaries, academics and relevant public and private sector representatives and funding agencies.

The Gamini Corea Foundation established the SLIF to bring together the like-minded subject specialists and industry stakeholders to discuss, debate and agree on pressing issues, on a variety of topics and formulate prudent policy strategies for facilitating Sri Lanka’s economic recovery.

Twenty key sectors have been identified and assigned to thought leaders and industry specialists in each category to author issue papers that will highlight the problems under investigation and suggest practical, scientifically formulated solutions.
