Sri Lanka Sotheby’s Int’l Realty appoints Neluka De Alwis as Chief Marketing and Sales Head

Sri Lanka Sotheby’s International Realty (SIR) has expanded its team in Colombo by appointing internationally acclaimed sales and marketing professional Neluka De Alwis as Chief Marketing and Sales Officer.


De Alwis is a visionary sales and marketing professional within the real estate sector in Sri Lanka, with an unparalleled track record of marketing high-rise apartments across some of the most iconic projects in Colombo for over 24 years and extensive experience in handling local and international clients. 


During her outstanding career, she has received accolades for her achievements at multiple award shows. She was named one of Top 50 Women Leaders in Asia by CMO Asia (2016), received the Woman Super Achiever award at the fifth World Women Leadership Congress (WWLC) in Mumbai (2018), was recognised as a Woman Super Achiever in the real estate sector at CMO Asia’s 10th anniversary celebrations (2019) and was also picked to be among Top 400 Women from over 50 nationalities at the sixth World Women Leadership Congress (WWLC) in Mumbai (2019). Prior to this, De Alwis was spearheading the sales and marketing operations at Shangri-La’s One Galle Face Residences.


De Alwis’s appointment will help enhance the sales and marketing efforts of SIR’s Sri Lanka operations with a special focus on one of Colombo’s most prestigious developments – Sapphire Residences. 


These residences comprising 132 magnificent sky mansions and located at the prime Galle Face oceanfront is set to redefine luxury vertical living in Colombo. Sapphire Residences is on course to complete in 2023. Sri Lanka SIR is the global sales and marketing service provider for Sapphire Residences.
