Sriyan De Silva Wijeyeratne quits Abans

Sriyan De Silva Wijeyeratne has resigned from the post of Chief Executive Officer of Abans PLC with effect from December 16, 2019.

Wijeyeratne joined Abans as its CEO mid-August last year.

Before Abans, Wijeyeratne was the Managing Director/CEO of Teejay Lanka PLC (TJL).

Prior to that he was Microsoft’s Country Manager for Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.

Further, Wijeyeratne has held roles at Suntel Ltd. and Nestle Lanka PLC in telecommunications, and consumer and retail marketing respectively.
