Susantha Ratnayake new BOI Chairman

Corporate leader and former John Keells Holdings (JKH) Chairman Susantha Ratnayake has been appointed as Chairman of the Board of Investment (BOI).
Ratnayake was appointed to the JKH board in the 1992/93 financial year and was appointed as Chairman/CEO in January 2006.

During his 12-year tenure as Chairman, JKH saw exponential growth.

Ratnayake also held the chairmanship of Ceylon Tobacco Company PLC, Ceylon Chamber of Commerce, the Employers’ Federation of Ceylon and Sri Lanka Tea Board.
Ratnayake was a member of the committee appointed by President Gotabaya Rajapaksa to select suitable professionals for state enterprises and statutory and regulatory bodies.
