The Eden Beruwala receives Rs.1.5bn facelift

Renowned for its paradisiac setting and utopian aesthetic, The Eden Beruwala, formerly known as The Eden Resort & Spa, is once again poised to welcome global travellers further to extensive renovations. 

With an investment of Rs.1.5 billion earlier this year by Browns Hotels & Resorts, the hotel has been artfully recurated to provide a more enhanced hospitality experience. In keeping with the year-end holidays and upcoming festive season, The Eden Beruwala is primed to open its doors to the public in December 2022. 

Located a mere one and a half hours away from Bandaranaike International Airport, the hotel lies on the palm-dotted stretch of Golden Mile Beach, Beruwala. Featuring 158 rooms redesigned with comfort and luxury in mind and equipped with various luxe amenities, the refurbishment has been executed in keeping with the evolving needs of the discerning traveller.  Offering a diverse range of local and international fusion cuisine made from the freshest and most authentic ingredients, the newly renovated all-day dining restaurant gives visitors a unique culinary experience that is intrinsically Eden, Beruwala.  Sports aficionados may enjoy their favourite games on larger-than-life LED screens at a bar designed in keeping with British-style pub food and drinks with a Sri Lankan twist. The emerald green waters of the iconic swimming pool have been restored in a way that invites round-the-clock relaxation with a swim-up bar paired with panoramic views of the Indian Ocean beyond.
