Treasury bill yields fall for 20th consecutive week

Sri Lanka’s Treasury bill yields fell across all maturities for the 20th consecutive week yesterday, at the auction held at the Public Debt Department (PDD) of the Central Bank. 


The three-month bill yields fell 10 basis points to 7.99 percent and the six-month yields fell 12 basis points to 8.09 percent. The 12-month yields fell eight basis points to 8.46 percent.


The PDD offered and sold Rs.16.5 billion in 12-month bills, Rs.3 billion in three-month bills and Rs.4 billion in six-month bills.
