Unidil makes donation to Covid Intensive Care Unit of Gampaha District Hospital

Unidil, the largest corrugated carton manufacturer in Sri Lanka, in yet another community support initiative has made a donation of Negative Pressure Ventilation System to the Covid Intensive Care Unit of Gampaha District Hospital at a cost of Rs. 1.2 million.


This unit vacuums all the negative air at ICU unit and helps to supplyclean air to the ICU Unit. Without this system, the unit cannot operate as infected air may affect the other patients and the hospital staff. 


The donations took place at the hospital premises with the participation of Bannet Gamalath, Chief Executive Officer, Indika Ilukkumbura, Finance Manager, Mangala Subasinghe, Head of Sales & Marketing, Dileepa Dananjaya, Head of HR of Unidil Packaging and the Director of the Gampaha District Hospital, Dr.Priyantha Illeperuma and the other medical staff. This donation was given on the request of Dr. Sampath Kulathunga.
