United Petroleum top executives meet president

United Petroleum’s top executives, including Co- Founder Avi Silver, Group CFO Nigel Simonsz, Group

Procurement Head Brett Crawford and United Petroleum Lanka Director/CEO Prabath Samarasinghe on Monday met with President Ranil Wickremesinghe. 


The meeting focused on the company’s current operations and future plans in Sri Lanka.
The discussions were also attended by Board of Investment Chairman Dinesh Weerakkody. 


Australian energy giant United Petroleum marked its foray into international operations last week, with a distributor felicitation event in Colombo, signalling a move to expand its lubricant range and convenience store concept at its gas stations across the country. 


United Petroleum’s operational launch is set for today, commencing with 150 filling stations. Additionally, the company plans to establish 50 new fuel stations demonstrating its commitment to a strong presence in the market with an investment of over US $ 100 million.
