Weddemulla Tea Factory establishes all-time record price

Weddemulla Tea Factory situated in Ramboda of Agalawatte Plantations PLC and owned by Damro Group achieved an all-time record price at the weekly tea auction held on January 25 and 26, 2022, by securing an attractive price of Rs.1,080 per kg for FBOPF1 grade in the High Grown category. The tea was purchased by Akbar Brothers Ltd and the sale was conducted by Ceylon Tea Brokers PLC.
