AIA Group Chief meets President Ranil Wickremesinghe

The officials of AIA, an American-Hong Kong-based multinational insurance and finance corporation, met with President Ranil Wickremesinghe this week.

Group President Yuan Siong, Regional CEO Tan Hak Leh and AIA Sri Lanka CEO Chathuri Munaweera met with Wickremesinghe at the Presidential Secretariat and held discussion on the company’s operations in Sri Lanka.

The AIA senior officials thanked Wickremesinghe for his leadership to steer the country during the country’s worst economic crisis. Participating in the discussions was also Advisor to President on Treasury Affairs Dinesh Weerakkody.

The AIA group is the largest listed life insurer in the world by market capitalisation.
