Abans appoints Rusi Pestonjee as MD

Abans PLC yesterday announced the appointment of Rusi Pestonjee as the Managing Director of the company with effect from June 21, 2023.

“Pursuant to Section 8.1 of the Listing Rules of the Colombo Stock Exchange, we write to inform you that the Board of Directors of Abans PLC by their resolution dated 21st June 2023 has appointed Rusi Pestonjee as Managing Director of the company with effect from 21st June 2023,” a stock market filing by the company said.

It also said Rusi Pestonjee does not hold any shares of the company.

On a stock market filing dated June 19, 2023, Abans PLC announced the cessation of directorship of Behman Pestonjee who expired on June 17, 2023.
