Amana Bank announced the expansion of its network across the island, now reaching a remarkable total of 55 physical locations.
This milestone includes 33 fully-fledged branches and 22 Self Banking Centres solidifying its commitment to providing convenient and accessible services to a wide range of customers.
The recently unveiled Self Banking Centers in Galhinna and Madawala were introduced under the patronage of Amana Bank’s Managing Director/CEO Mohammed Azmeer, Chief Operating Officer Imtiaz Iqbal, Vice President – Retail Banking & Marketing Siddeeque Akbar, area business personnel and residents.
Situated at No. 226/3, Mosque Road, Galhinna, the Galhinna SBC offers 24/7 accessibility for cash withdrawal, cash deposit and cheque deposits, while customers can also avail other services through the customer service agents placed at the location.
Similar services are accessible at the newly opened Madawala Self Banking Centre, located at No. 227/2/2 Kandy Road, Madawala.To ensure exceptional service, the Self Banking Centres in Galhinna and Madawala will be managed by the highly skilled and customer-focused teams from Amana Bank’s Akurana and Katugastota branches. Both Self Banking Centres were established under the Brown Label Self Service Devise collaboration in place with AB Securitas (Pvt) Ltd.
Commenting on the expansion of its network, the Bank’s Managing Director/CEO Mohamed Azmeer said, “We are delighted to expand our Self Banking Centres and reach 55 locations, following our people friendly banking model to benefit the people of Galhinna and Madawala. Based on the positive market response on the initial establishment of Self Banking Centres in remote localities, we wanted many more customers to benefit from such convenient access. We hope to continue expanding the concept within this year to many other regions as well.”
Also sharing his views Chief Operating Officer Imtiaz Iqbal said, “Our expansion of Self Banking Centres across various localities ensure financial inclusivity to customers and general public, where in certain locations, prior to the establishment of our SBCs customers/public had to travel a long distance to access basic banking services as ATMs. In addition to cash deposits, withdrawals, and cheque deposits, we have placed dedicated customer service agents at these SBCs, enabling customers to also avail other banking services, thereby enriching their banking experience with us.”
