BOC recognized among Top 10 ‘Most Admired Companies in Sri Lanka for 2022’

The Bank of Ceylon once again was recognized as one of the “Top 10 Most Admired Companies in Sri Lanka for 2022” at the event organized by CIMA (Chartered Institute of Management Accountants), AICPA (American Institute of Certified Public Accountants), ICCSL (International Chamber of Commerce Sri Lanka) and Daily FT to acknowledge and inspire Sri Lankan corporate citizens in their efforts to maintain good governance and sustainable financial performance.  


Commenting on the award Russel Fonseka, the General Manager stated, “BOC pragmatically follows the ethos of sustainable growth in every aspect of its operation, giving highest regard to the wellbeing of all stakeholders it is involved with. By incorporating the true essence of sustainability within our operation system we have covered all seventeen of SDG goals by now. 
In the meantime, we have enhanced our balance sheet with an asset base over Rs.4 trillion as the only Sri Lankan banking institution to have achieved, which is an exceptional feat in the banking industry, that is a testament to our operational excellence and the trust we have earned throughout these years”.
