CFA Society SL-SLID renew collaboration

CFA Society Sri Lanka and the Sri Lanka Institute of Directors (SLID) recently renewed their collaborative partnership for the fourth consecutive year to facilitate collaboration between the two professional bodies.
The memorandum of understanding (MoU) between CFA Society Sri Lanka and the SLID will pave the way to jointly promote corporate governance and share knowledge and experiences. Both bodies will work jointly to organise events, including seminars and workshops, for the benefit of members of both bodies.


The MoU was officially signed by CFA Society Sri Lanka President Aruna Perera, CFA and SLID Chairman Faizal Salieh and SLID Chief Executive Officer Rizan Jiffrey and CFA Society Sri Lanka CEO Aruna Alwis were also present.
Perera, CFA said, “We are delighted to mark the renewal of the MoU between the organisations. CFA Society Sri Lanka and the SLID share the same values and we certainly have similarities in our missions. This will pave the way to formally mark our future cooperation and we look forward to partnering with the SLID as we jointly work to enhance the knowledge of our respective members.”


Salieh noted, “This MoU will open new avenues of opportunity for the members of both our bodies. The current challenging economic environment requires the members to sharpen their skills to drive their business and this MoU will help to cooperate and collaborate with CFA Society Sri Lanka within the scope of our respective mandates and areas of competencies for the mutual benefit of both our members.”
