CMA Sri Lanka presents Awards of Excellence in Business Management

CMA Professional Excellence Awards were presented to several top accounting professionals, who have contributed to the accounting profession and excelled in their professional and business career. 
The awards were presented at the inauguration of CMA National Management Accounting Conference 2023, held recently at Cinnamon Grand, on the theme ‘Sustainability and Value Creation in an Economic Turmoil’.


The recipients were Fellow Members of CMA Sri Lanka, Janaka Karunaratne – Assistant Governor in charge of Supervision of Non-Bank Financial Institutions Department, Central Bank of Sri Lanka, Kusal Nissanka – Senior Vice President of Finance and Administration, Colombo Stock Exchange, K. Sivanesan – Senior Partner,  Amarasekara & Company Charted Accountancy special in Tax Advisory Services,  Ruchira Perera –  Counsil Member, CMA Sri Lanka,  Supun Weerasinghe – Group Chief Executive, Non-Independent Executive Director, Dialog Axiata  and also to other accounting professionals Mohan Thanthirige – Senior Vice President, Group Financial Controller, Johon Keels Holdings, Nishtar Sulaiman – Partner Tax Services, Ernst & Young, Russel Fonseka – General Manager, Bank of Ceylon, Jeewani Abeyratne – Director Finance and IT, Haycarb PLC and Priyanka Jayatilake – Partner, KPMG Sri Lanka and the Maldives. 
The awards were presented by Central Bank Governor Dr, Nandalal P. Weerasinghe, CMA President Prof. Lakshman R. Watawala and CMA Vice President H.M. Hennayake Bandara.
