China expresses displeasure over targeted Covid-19 measures

As several countries worldwide are taking measures to prevent a new wave of Covid-19 infections with China readying to open up, the government of China retaliated to the move stating it is “unreasonable”.

Addressing a regular press briefing on Today, a Chines Foreign Ministry spokesperson said the restrictions aimed at China lack scientific basis, reports from international media highlighted.

The spokesperson pointed out that the Chinese government is "firmly opposed to such practices" and will take corresponding measures accordingly.
