DFCC discontinues issuance of monthly bank account statements

Commercial and development bank, DFCC Bank PLC has urged its customers to register for the eStatement facility due to the shortage of papers.

In a special notice to customers released today, the DFCC said it is compelled to discontinue the issuance of monthly bank account statements with effect from April 2022.

The credit card statements will also be discontinued from 1 May 2022.

The ongoing foreign exchange crisis has impacted imports of printing papers. The country is also facing a shortage of ink and toners.
