First set of Indian bloggers end #NamastefromSriLanka tour

The first set of 25 Indian bloggers who were in Sri Lanka for a familiarization trip ended the visit yesterday on a ‘high note’, SriLankan Airlines said.

The bloggers were in Sri Lanka to explore the tourist offering under the #NamastefromSriLanka tour.  The second batch of 25 bloggers have already arrived in the country under the same program and have kicked off the tour.

The objective of the #NamastefromSriLanka familiarization tour is to support Sri Lanka’s tourism revival efforts whilst fortifying connectivity in its single largest market India, SriLankan Airlines said in a statement.

The short-listed bloggers will embark on curated itineraries that feature Sri Lanka’s rich ecological and cultural vibrancy entwined with the inherent island attributes of authentic village life, wellness, and hospitality.

 “NamastefromSriLanka will continue to reach the discerning Indian travelers with travel inspiration through these high-profile bloggers,” SriLankan Airlines said.
