Former USDA Chief Raja Edirisuriya to head BOI

Former Urban Settlement Development Authority (USDA) Chairman Raja Edirisuriya will lead Sri Lanka’s apex investment promotion agency, the Board of Investment (BOI) Mirror Business learns.

Industry sources shared that Edirisuriya has been picked by the Presidential Secretariat to head the BOI as its Chairman. He is expected to receive the official appointment this week.

Edirisuriya will take up the role after the BOI leadership and its board placed their resignation earlier this month.

Edirisuriya assumed duties as the Executive Project Management Director for Colombo Port City Development Project last year.
