The registration and grading include a screening process of the capabilities of prospective contractors, to determine and elaborate their general ability to undertake projects of different types and sizes without special reference to a particular contract. The general areas taken into consideration are financial capability, technical ability with staff and plant & machinery and the experience gained in relevant fields.

It is noteworthy that the company is also ISO 45001 - Occupational Safety in Construction, ISO 9001 – Quality Management in Construction as well as ISO 14001 – Environmental Management Systems and Performance in

Even amidst the toughest of situations during the recent pandemic as well as the economic crisis that followed, none of the projects by the company were halted even for a single day. Continuous construction operations during such times are solid proof of the company’s capability within the industry.

Successfully maneuvering the construction material scarcity, Home Lands Constructions were able to locally source necessary materials that were in line with the expected quality standards. In situations otherwise, materials were imported under special government approvals.

Relevant and up-to-date staff training and development programmes ensured staff retention during such times. Skilled, unskilled and sub-contracting staff members of all levels were provided with necessary perks such as promotions, increments and additional payments.

The aforesaid aspects enabled Home Lands Constructions to complete and deliver the projects as scheduled, exceeding the expectations of customers. Despite the construction costs being unbearable due to the dollar crisis and the economic instability, the company’s prudent management of financial, human and operational resources led to the obtainment of the
