E-commerce industry leader Kapruka Holdings PLC, with a Rs.200 million investment, launched the Partner Central platform for sellers in Sri Lanka, where partnerships are forged with external businesses, expanding the product and service reach for customers.
As a hub for the sellers in managing orders, tracking deliveries, accessing pricing information and collaborating with Kapruka in doing business, Partner Central has exclusivity in categories, while product pricing is at the sellers’ discretion.

“Sell it at the right price. A good product. A good service,” said Kapruka Holdings PLC Founder and CEO Dulith Herath.
He was addressing the partners gathered at the launch event at Lotus Tower last week.
Partner Central also facilitates the sellers to go global.

“We have the wiring that connects Partner Central and your product directly to the major platforms in the US and other parts of the world, even in Russia, despite the sanctions,” Herath added.
Filling a lacuna and giving visibility into Sri Lanka’s fragmented shopping behaviours, Kapruka partners are empowered with access to artificial intelligence-filtered data gathered via Kapruka’s multiple channels, from Facebook groups, social commerce platforms to Google ads run in
different city levels.

The online customers benefit Partner Central with its multiple products offered at a competitive price from a variety of sellers. The buyers’ delivery trust is retained with Partner Central’s prerequisite for products being in the Kapruka warehouse to get
listed on its site.

Upcoming feature digital e-vouchers, created virtually and delivered digitally through SMS, WhatsApp or QR code, with the point-of-sale interface on the Kapruka Partner Central app, is
another novelty.
“Anybody in Sri Lanka, including all the restaurants in Sri Lanka, will be able to within few minutes create an e-voucher and get it delivered through Kapruka, through the digital method and also have the proper redemption system,” Herath stated.
