Lassana Innovations launches Treats of Ceylon at BIA

Lassana Innovations, a subsidiary of Lassana.com (Pvt.) Ltd, marked a major milestone recently with the grand opening of the Treats of Ceylon shop at Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA). 
The Treats of Ceylon shop is strategically located at the BIA departure walkway, offering the departing travellers the opportunity to purchase their beloved Sri Lankan flavours and take them abroad. Whether Sri Lankans wishing to gift their homegrown delicacies or foreigners seeking an authentic taste of Sri Lanka, the Treats of Ceylon shop caters to a diverse range of customers.


The launch event was graced by Airport and Aviation Services Sri Lanka Ltd Chairman Major General (Retired) G.A. Chandrasiri, who inaugurated the Treats of Ceylon shop along with Chairman/MD Dr. Lasantha Malavige, Lassana Group Directress Porf. Neelika Malavige and other esteemed guests. The opening of this shop marks a significant milestone in showcasing Sri Lanka’s rich flavours and culinary expertise to both Sri Lankans and international visitors.


Treats of Ceylon cookies are meticulously handcrafted using the finest Sri Lankan spices, including Ceylon cinnamon, black pepper, cardamom, clove, nutmeg, mace and other carefully selected ingredients. These high-end, export quality gifting cookies have been developed through a collaborative effort by teams of local and international experts, ensuring a delightful culinary experience. 


In addition to the Treats of Ceylon cookie range, the shop also offers a diverse selection of other traditional Sri Lankan delicacies such as kokis, kavum, kalu dodol, sesame rolls, pani kaju, coconut toffee, jackfruit bites, etc. Customers can also buy the La Treats product range by Lassana Innovations, including La Treats cookies, tea time cookies, chocolate slabs and artisan chocolates at the newly launched shop.
