In an effort to promote Sri Lanka as a safe tourism destination to international travelers, Sri Lanka Tourism has kicked on its International Media & Influencer Facilitation Programme to highlight the country’s lesser-known experiences.

The influencers are expected to showcase how welcoming Sri Lankans are and how life has returned to normalcy with safe and secure measurements set up by the government, whilst also highlighting the reasons to consider lesser-known fresh regions such as Northern Sri Lanka, Sabargamuwa, Central highlands for the next holiday.

In October, Sri Lanka Tourism invited 10 high-profile journalists and travel influencers from Norway, India, and the Philippines, who have active audiences from the UK, Norway, Germany, USA, UAE, Australia, Canada, Philippines, and India.
