Mount Lotus Hospitals successfully completes 1,000 cataract surgeries in 7 months

Mount Lotus Eye and ENT Hospitals, one of the newest hospitals of its kind in Sri Lanka, reached a significant medical milestone by completing 1,000 cataract surgeries in a short period of time recently.

Once the report is cleared and the patient is declared fit for surgery, they are immediately taken into the operating theatre for the procedure that only takes a few hours.
