Nautical tourism under fresh focus with Boat Show 2021 launch

Sri Lanka’s nautical tourism comes under fresh focus today with the launch of the first-ever virtual boat show in the country.

While the Boat Show Sri Lanka is a regular event in the Export Development Board calendar, it is being held for the first time completely online.

The Virtual Boat Show 2021 will be live for five days starting today where visitors and exhibitors will be able to interact with one another in real-time.

The 2021 Boat Show, organized by the Ministry of Trade, Export Development Board, and the Boat Building Technology Improvement Institute, has brought on to one platform over 30 exhibitors from across the world.

Alongside Sri Lanka, some of the participating countries include India, Malaysia, Maldives, Turkey, Japan, Singapore, and the UAE.
