Remittances through MMBL Money Transfer to exceed US $ 250mn in FY2023/24

MMBL Money Transfer (Pvt.) Ltd is the largest Western Union representative in Sri Lanka, operating through a network of 3,000 sub-representatives throughout the island.
The company is an equally held joint venture between Aitken Spence and MMBL-Pathfinder Group.
During the financial year 2023/24, inward remittances through MMBL Money Transfer will exceed US $ 250 million, accounting for approximately 4 percent of worker remittances into Sri Lanka. 

Worker remittances remain a vital source of income and foreign exchange generation in Sri Lanka.
