SLTB to buy oil and lubricants from Lanka IOC and Chevron Lubricants Lanka

The Sri Lanka Transport Board (SLTB) is poised to procure the necessary oil and lubricants necessary for its operations from Lanka IOC PLC and Chevron Lubricants Lanka PLC. 
The Department of Government Information said national competitive bids were solicited for this purpose. 
Subsequently, the Cabinet-appointed procurement committee has endorsed the procurement of the required oil and lubricants from these two companies. 
Consequently, the Cabinet of Ministers this week gave approval for the proposal, as presented by the Minister of Transport and Highways, to award the respective contracts to the two recommended companies.
