SriLankan commences Colombo-Paris flights after 6 years

National carrier SriLankan Airlines today resumed flights to the French capital Paris after a lapse of six years.

SriLankan Airlines will operate scheduled non-stop flights between Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) and Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG) non-stop flights to France every Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday using a fleet of Airbus A330-300 aircraft.

The inaugural flight took off from Colombo on 30 October and arrived in Paris on 31 October at 7.30 am.

Upon Arrival, the Sri Lankan community in Paris together with the Sri Lankan Embassy in France welcomed the Sri Lankan delegation led by the Minister for Tourism and Promotions Prasanna Ranathunga and SriLankan Airlines Chairman Ashok Pathirage.
