The Culinary Art Food Expo (CAFE), the most comprehensive food and beverage exhibition in Sri Lanka, had its 18th edition this year, showcasing only the best of global cuisine in Colombo, hosted at the BMICH by the Chef’s Guild of Lanka.
Chef Amila Udayanga Withanarachchi from Sundara by Mosvold, Balapitiya, was awarded the Silver medal, for the category of ‘Hot Cooking Seafood in Sri Lanka’.
Sundara by Mosvold, an eight-room, luxury villa by homegrown Sri Lankan chain Mosvold Boutique Hotels, is situated in Balapitiya, on the southwestern coast of the island. The oceanfront property is named after ‘Sundara’, the Sanskrit word for beautiful.

Across our properties, not only do we showcase Sri Lankan classics but also international staples, presented elegantly, using as much local produce as possible.
