Sunshine Holdings’ SUN Awards honours top performers

Diversified conglomerate Sunshine Holdings PLC recognised its best-performing employees during the financial year of 2023/24 at the recently concluded SUN Awards 2024.
The three business sectors of the group—healthcare, consumer goods and agribusiness—held their respective awards ceremonies under the theme of ‘Ignite the Future’.

The award ceremonies were graced by Sunshine Holdings Group Chief Executive Officer Shyam Sathasivam, Deputy Chairman Vish Govindasamy, key members of the Sunshine group’s executive committee, distinguished guests 
and employees. 
A total of 156 awards – Merit, Excellence and Chairman’s Awards – were distributed among high-performing individuals and teams at SUN Awards ceremonies. 

Additionally, 89 long-standing awards were presented to recognise the commitment and loyalty of employees who have contributed to the company’s success over 10 to 25 years. To celebrate the lighter side of workplace achievements and camaraderie, 13 Fun Awards were also given during the award ceremonies. Among the 3,000+ professionals that make up the SUN workforce, these awardees stood out for their outstanding performances and contributions towards the group’s success.
